You may notice ‘Save Girls Sports’ lawn signs popping up around the Hudson Valley.

They’re mine.

After 50 years of athletic progress, ideologues in Albany want to sacrifice Girls sports to achieve some type of genderless Utopia in New York.

It’s nuts.

The Board of Regents plans to combine Girls and Boys sports teams throughout the state — that’s one issue — and the state wants biological males competing on Girls teams.

They ignore reality: Boys are bigger and faster, on average, than girls, so they’ll get spots on teams — and potentially scholarships — that the girls deserve.

It’s not fair, and as a mother of six girls, I’m incensed.

Girls aren’t second class citizens.

Hands off our athletics, Albany.
